What is a Reading Map?

A reading map begins with one book and a lot of curiousity.

You start with the ideas contained in the first book, and follow them as they weave a path through the shelves of the whole library collection.

A biography of a famous chef, for example, may inspire you to remodel your kitchen, to live in France, or grow heritage vegetables.

Reading maps never contain dead ends.

When you're inside the map site you can:

  • Check availability through the online catalogue
  • Reserve a book from the map
  • Print a shortened version of the map (pdf)
  • Read reviews and summaries of books

Start with....

My life in France / by Julia Child with Alex Prud'homme (English)
