NoveList is a fiction database that provides summaries, subject heading access and reviews for over 120,000 fiction titles. It also includes Author Read-alikes, Book Discussion Guides, BookTalks, and Feature Articles.

Proquest/ Canadian Newsstand/ CBCA
Use this newspaper and magazine database to find book reviews, author interviews, and other interesting articles on the books and authors you are reading. Full-text access to the New York Times Book Review, New Yorker, Library Journal and more.

Contemporary Authors
Biographical and bibliographical information for more than 90,000 authors worldwide. Entries contain information about the author as well as a "sidelight" on his/her professional career. Each article will also include a full bibliography of the author's work and articles in which the author has been featured.

Globe & Mail Historical
Use this database to find book reviews from the Globe and Mail. You can access newspaper articles from 1844 -2001. For Globe and Mail articles from 2001 to the present, use the Globe and Mail CD-ROM which is available on computer stations number 1 &2 in the Reference Department.
